Our History

Emmaus House is a senior supportive housing unit operated on a non-profit basis by Emmaus Place Society, dually registered with the Government of British Columbia.

Emmaus House was established at 6373 Hillcrest Place in Prince George, British Columbia. On February 1, 2002 Emmaus House was opened for operation by the leasing of the large residence from the Bowler Family, and then in December, 2004, the aforementioned property was purchased from Patricia Bowler. During the years from 2005 through 2009, we have continued to update and modernize the property. We have contacted an artist who will likely be acquired by our society to paint a "before" and, an "after" paintings to be placed in the main entrance of the lower level.

The Board of Directors of Emmaus Place Society continue to make every effort in establishing and maintaining the Family Atmosphere in Emmaus House!
